Portland Children’s Levy site (No income restrictions but priority is given to low income families):  Priority is given to children who turn 4 before September 1st, reside in the Lincoln Park home school area and are Native Spanish speaking students.

Gracias por su interés en el Preescolar de Lincoln Park. Hay un salón de clase de preescolar en Lincoln Park con un maestro de salón de clases de preescolar certificado y dos asistentes. Los niños de 3 a 4 años pueden postularse. Se dará prioridad a los niños que cumplan 4 años antes del 1 de septiembre. Si su hijo cumplirá 5 años después del 1 de septiembre, también pueden postularse (si su hijo cumplirá 5 años antes del 1 de septiembre, debe inscribirse en el jardín de infantes) .
La inscripción está abierta hasta que todos los lugares de preescolar estén llenos. El tamaño de las clases será limitado y no se ofrecen por orden de llegada. El salón de clases preescolar de Lincoln Park está financiado actualmente a través de Portland Children's Levy. No hay restricciones de ingresos, pero se da prioridad a las familias de bajos ingresos.

Se da prioridad de inscripción a las familias que residen en el área de escuela local de Lincoln Park y que son estudiantes nativos de habla hispana. Debe residir en el área de influencia del Distrito Escolar David Douglas para solicitar ingreso al preescolar de Lincoln Park. Si su estudiante es aceptado en uno de nuestros preescolares David Douglas y su familia se muda fuera del Distrito durante el año escolar, ya no podrá continuar asistiendo. La única excepción a esta regla es cuando las familias se mudan cuando quedan 6 semanas o menos del año escolar. La asistencia regular es muy importante para los niños. Los niños que no asisten regularmente tienen más dificultades para adaptarse a las rutinas escolares. Se ha demostrado que la asistencia regular aumenta directamente el éxito futuro de un niño en la escuela. Es una expectativa que todos nuestros estudiantes en el Distrito Escolar David Douglas mantengan una asistencia superior al 90% para participar en nuestro programa preescolar.

Thank you for your interest in the Lincoln Park Preschool. There is one preschool classroom at Lincoln Park with a certified preschool classroom teacher and two assistants. Children ages 3-4 are welcome to apply. Priority will be given to children who turn 4 years old by September 1. If your child will turn 5 after September 1st, they are also welcome to apply (If your child will turn 5 on or before September 1st, they should enroll in Kindergarten).
Registration is open until all preschool spots are full. 
Class sizes will be limited and are not offered on a first come, first served basis. The Lincoln Park preschool classroom is currently funded through the Portland Children's Levy.
There are no income restrictions but priority is given to families who are low income.
Priority enrollment is given to families residing in the Lincoln Park home school area who are Native Spanish speaking students. You must reside in the David Douglas School District catchment area to apply for Lincoln Park preschool.

If your student is accepted into one of our David Douglas preschools and your family moves outside of the District during the school year, they will no longer be able to continue attending. The only exception to this rule is when families move when there are 6 weeks or less remaining in the school year. 

Regular attendance is very important for children. Children who do not attend regularly have a harder time adjusting to school routines. Regular attendance has been shown to directly increase a child’s future success in school. It is an expectation that all of our students in David Douglas School District maintain 90%+ attendance to participate in our preschool program.
